ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 not to appoint the 3rd respondent as a Local Cable Operator in the petitioner's area.

2. The learned Standing counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit on instructions that till date, the 3rd respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has not been appointed as a local Cable Operator by them and therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner as stated in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition is uncalled for.

3. After recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and since the 3rd respondent has not been appointed as Local Cable Operator by the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted by this Court.

4. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
