ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode to dispose of the case in S.C.No.25 of 2010 as expeditiously as possible.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case in S.C.No.25 of 2010 is pending from the year 2010 without any progress. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that there are 30 accused in this case and 136 witnesses are cited as prosecution witnesses. Out of these witnesses, so far as, 44 witnesses have been examined. He request further time to examine all the witnesses.
4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government for the respondent.

In the light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), it appears that all the accused are appearing regularly before the Trial Court and no Non Bailable Warrant is pending against any of the accused. Therefore, there is no justification for keeping this case pending from the year 2010. Hence, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.25 of 2010 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
