Before the Writ Court, the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees Organization had espoused the cause of petitioner herein who was a workman of the Tuticorin Port Trust, along with six other workmen. Thereafter, the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees Organization was dissolved and it is no longer in existence. Hence, the petitioner herein has filed the present appeal as a third party to the writ proceedings. 2.As per the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the present petition seeking for condonation of delay of 2181 days, the Association had not taken effective steps for the period between 2012 and 2015 and thereafter the Association was also https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

dissolved and hence, the delay has occurred in filing the above Writ Appeal against the order passed in W.P.No.18072 of 2003 dated 11.12.2012. 3.We are convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit for the delay in filing the above Writ Appeal. Accordingly, the delay stands condoned. 4.Registry is directed to number the above W.A.SR.No.2174 of 2019 and post it for Admission in usual course, if the papers are otherwise in order.
