ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.4052 of 2016, on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-15.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that there are totally 5 accused in this case. The petitioners are arrayed as A1 and A2. Already this Court, by an order dated 06.05.2022, in Crl.O.P.Nos.26918 and 26919 of 2016 quashed the proceedings in C.C.No.4052 of 2016, on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-15, insofar as A3 to A5. The petitioners herein also stand in the same footing. Therefore, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings insofar as the petitioners also.

4. In view of the above, the proceedings in C.C No.4052 of 2016,

on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai-15, is hereby quashed as against the petitioners. This Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. 27.11.2023 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn To
