This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner G.Nandhini, seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the gratuity, family pension arrears, family pension, G.I.S., G.P.F., S.G.P.F., pay commission arrears with 18% interest from the date of death of her father i.e. 02.09.2007 to the petitioner.

2.A mere reading of the affidavit shows that the petitioner, without even mentioning the date on which her father late N.N.Gopalakrishna was employed as Watchman in C.R.S. Central Aspeta Plant, Chetpet, Zone IX post, has filed this petition, seeking direction to the respondents to pay the gratuity, family pension arrears, family pension, G.I.S., G.P.F., S.G.P.F., pay commission arrears with 18% interest from the date of death of her father. Since the petitioner has come to this Court after a lapse of nine years and she has not even enclosed the appointment order of her father along with other documents, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition, by invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus, in favour of the petitioner, who is found to be guilty of laches. Accordingly, the Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
