This first appeal has been filed against the Judgment and Decree in LAOP.No.459 of 1987, dated 31.08.2000 passed by the learned Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee.

2. It is seen from the records that the death of sole respondent was reported as early as 14.12.2023 by the learned Government Pleader for the appellants. Till date, no steps have been taken to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased respondent.
