This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in C.C.No.6 of 2013, pending on the file of the learned Special Judge, TNPID, Chennai.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that pending this petition, the petitioner died on 11.02.2015. The learned Government Advocate has produced death certificate of the petitioner and therefore nothing survives in this petition. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is dismissed as abates. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
