This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.310 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Cheyur Police Station, Cheyur, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.310 of 2023, charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi and the same has been taken on file in S.T.C.No.1018 of 2024. He further submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate, Avinashi, vide order dated 03.12.2024, convicted and sentenced the petitioner/accused to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for one week. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition.

3. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Page Nos.2/4
