This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner and her family members.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that there are some theft cases against the husband of the petitioner and therefore, the respondent police have called the petitioner for enquiry.

3. Admittedly, there is no case against this petitioner. Therefore, if the respondent police wants to conduct any enquiry against the petitioner, necessary summons may be issued to the petitioner and the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry.
