ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to mutate the patta with respect to the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in favour of the petitioner, based on his representation dated 18.08.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. At the outset, he would submit that the petitioner has not submitted online application with the respondents to enable them to consider his request for mutation patta in his favour.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application with the respondents. The said undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner is hereby recorded by this Court.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the application of the petitioner seeking for mutation of patta in his name is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections from the neighbouring land

owners as well as any other party whom the respondents deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh online application with the respondents seeking for mutation of patta in his favour for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (b) On receipt of such application, the second respondent shall pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections from neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks thereafter. No Costs.
