The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the supplementary voters list for the Ernamangalam panchayat issued by the third respondent on 23.12.2019 and quash the same in as much as removing the name of the petitioner from the voter list of Ernamangalam panchayat, Kalasapakkam Panchayath Union.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent submitted that the present writ petition has been filed to include the name of the petitioner in the voters list. However, during the pendency of this writ petition, her name was included in the voters list and she has also contested in the election and elected as Page No.2 of 5

President of the third respondent panchayat i.e., Kalasapakkam Panchayat.

3. Since, the relief sought for by the petitioner has already been granted, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 14.03.2025 vm Index :
