(The Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J) The petitioner has filed the present seeking directions to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 25.10.2025 and to release the petitioner, who is a convict prisoner, confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor sought time to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2025 and pass orders on the same. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, without expressing any of the views on the merits of the case, we are inclined to issue directions to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on the same. Accordingly, direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2025 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2 / 4
