2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not an accused in the case relating to Cr.No.95 of 2000 on the file of respondent police. He would further contend that the petitioner's father name is Ramu and he belongs to Melagundalapadi village, but in final report, the names of his father and native village varies.
3. The learned Govt. Advocate (crl. Side) who takes notice for the respondent police is directed to file a report regarding the identity of the petitioner and whether this petitioner is arrayed as an accused in Crime No.95 of 2000 on the file of Puduchathiram Police Station, Cuddalore District, since the petitioner claims that he is not an accused in the abovesaid crime number.
