The writ petition has been instituted claiming promotion.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners made a submission that the 1st petitioner retired from service and the petitioners 2 and 3 were already promoted to the higher posts and their grievances are redressed.
3. As far as the 4th petitioner is concerned, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 made a submission that the case of the 4th writ petitioner was not considered on account of non availability of vacancies and his case will be considered, whenever the
vacancy arises, subject to his eligibility.
4. In view of the said submission, the respondents have to consider the case of the 4th petitioner for promotion,whenever the vacancy arises and by following the rules in force.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
