O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 26.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On reading of the complaint dated 26.02.2016 given by the petitioner, it is seen that this petitioner had entered into a Joint Development agreement on 23.02.2013 with the opposite party and some dispute arose between the petitioner and the opposite party, on account of which, the agreement was cancelled. Now, it is alleged by the petitioner that the opposite party has to pay some money, for which he issued certain cheques which were dishonoured.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the complaint, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to issue direction to the respondent police to register FIR, as the transaction appears to be civil in nature and this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law.
