O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner in administering the property based on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.02.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that a criminal case has been registered in T-15 SRMC Police Station, in Crime No.185 of 2018 for the offences under Section 506(i) of IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act against the petitioner herein on the allegation that the petitioner had demolished the compound wall of the church in dispute.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner.
