(Order of the Court was made by SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J.) The petitioner seeks to amend the prayer by replacing the original prayer with the following prayer:

"For the reasons stated above, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or order or direction in the nature of a Writ, calling for the records of the No Objection Certificate No.R.Dis.No.2147/2019/C2 dated 25.02.2020 issued by the 2nd respondent in favour of the 6th respondent and quash the same and consequently to restrain the 6th respondent from erection, commissioning and operation of the New Road-side Petroleum Retail Outlet on State Highway No.196 (SH-196) at SF No.283A, Thottipalayam Village, Tirupur North Taluk, Tirupur District - 641 668 in gross violation to the IRC Circular No.12-2009, G.O.(Ms) 79 dated 04.05.2016 and the Tamilnadu Combined

Development and building Rules, 2019 and to pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper and thus render justice."

2. The amendment is prayed for on account of the issuance of the no-objection certificate dated February 25, 2020. The respondents do not seriously object to the amendment application.

3. Accordingly, the amendment application, W.M.P.No.1529 of 2021, is ordered. The Registry is directed to carryout the consequential amendment in the writ petition. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the amended writ petition on all the respondents.
