ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2015 and consequently pay death benefits of her husband Muniyandi.

2.According to the petitioner, her husband by name Muniyandi, was a driver in the respondent Corporation and died on 20.12.2012 while he was in service, leaving behind his mother, the petitioner/wife and children as his surviving legal heirs. Immdiately, the petitioner approached the 1st respondent for grant of her husband's death benefits. While making such attempt, she was directed to approach the 2nd respondent and get no objection certificate. Accordingly, she approached the second respondent, who inturn, refused to issue the no objection certificate stating that her husband stood as a surety for a loan availed by one Mohan. Thereafter, the petitioner made several representations and lastly on 04.02.2005 to the respondents for settlement of her huband's death benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, no order was passed on the said representation, till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3.Heard both sides and perused the documents filed in the form of typed set of papers.

4.Considering the limited relief sought herein, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
