Respondents Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to grant leave for one month to petitioner's father Amulraj@Selvam, S/o.Chinnathambi, aged about 52 years, who now confined in Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai, by considering his representation dated 21.12.2020 to meet his ill mother and to arrange money for her treatment and to pass orders.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, who is the son of the life convict, wherein leave has been sought for on the ground that the wife of the convict is in a very serious condition.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the second respondent has already called for a report from the Probation Officer and the local Police Station on 27.01.2021 and a proposal will be submitted before the first respondent and the first respondent will take a decision on the leave https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to submit the proposal before the first respondent within a period of one week from today and the first respondent on receipt of the proposal shall pass appropriate orders within a period of one week thereafter.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
