Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents to grant leave for thirty days to the petitioner's father R.Kumar son of Ranganathan, aged about 50 years, convict No.3074, detained at central prison, Vellore based on petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2021 to attend and arrange money for his father's brother's son marriage which is going to be held on 25.01.2021.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed for direction to the fourth respondent to grant leave to the father of the petitioner in order to enable him to attend the marriage of his brother's son to be held on 25.01.2021.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The ground on which the leave has been sought for is not covered under the ordinary leave provided under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982. In any event, the marriage function has got over today and therefore no useful purpose will be served in giving any direction to the respondents. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above directions.
