Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2020 in accordance with law with regard to cancellation of subdivisions and modification/cancellation of pattas made in respect of properties in S.F.No.521 (as 521/1, 521/2. 521/3, 521/4, 521/5) situated at Billichi Village, Coimbatore, North Taluk, Coimbatore and consequently to issue patta in my name for an extent of 1.72 acres in S.F.No.521 at Billichi Village including a cart track situated therein as per my title documents within the time that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
The petitioner has preferred a representation dated 19.09.2020 to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Coimbatore, to issue patta in his name in S.F.No.521 at Billichi Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore, after making certain rectifications and modifications in the patta.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and makes a statement on written instructions that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 4.00 p.m., on 25.02.2021 in the Office of the Tahsildar, North Coimbatore District / second respondent. The said statement is recorded.

3. Inasmuch as the date for enquiry is fixed by the respondents, no direction is required to be given except that the second respondent / Tahsildar, North Coimbatore District is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
