For Petitioners : Mr.R.Sreedharan(in all W.Ps) For Respondents : Mr.V.Vijayshankar for R1(in all W.Ps) Mr.A.Rajaperumal, AGP for R2 (in all W.Ps) M/s.A.Srijayanthi, Spl GP for R3 (in all W.Ps) and R4 in WP.709/18 No appearance for R4 in WP.708 and 710/2018 C O M M O N O R D E R The relief sought for in these writ petitions are for a direction to direct the respondents to grant notional increment to the writ petitioners, who retired on attaining the age of superannuation on the preceding day of annual increment due dated 01.01.2007, 01.07.2008, 01.01.2007 in the light of the final orders passed in W.P.No.
12322 of 2017 dated 05.07.2017. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader made a submission that the Government issued a common order in G.O.Ms.No.140, Finance(Pay Cell Department) dated 25th April 2018, implementing the orders passed by this Court and necessary amendments were also issued to that effect.
3.In this view of the matter, the case of the writ petitioners also is to be considered in the light of the Government orders passed in G.O.Ms.No.140, Finance(Pay Cell Department) dated 25.04.2018. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to extend the benefit of the above said Government Order and take a decision and pass appropriate orders within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
