This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant an order to transfer the C.C.No.428 of 2008 from the file of Judicial Magistrate 1 at Tambaram to the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate at Villupuram for the purpose of expeditious trial and disposal of the case.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner filed a memo stating that the petitioner has already filed a quash petition to quash the C.C.No.428 of 2008 before this Court.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner the transfer of investigation in C.C.No.428 of 2008 does not arise.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
