PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent pertains to T.P.D.A.No.640 with reference to (Detention Order C.No.74/G/ IS/TPC//2023) dated 14.12.2023, setting aside the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent and directing the 2nd respondent to produce the detenu by name Ravikumar, Son of Royappa Gounder, before this Court, now detained in Central Prison at Coimbatore, setting him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.620, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 01.02.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
