PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in Memo.No.660/BCDFGISSSV/2023 passed by the 2nd respondent on 11.12.2023, on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to produce petitioner's husband Purushothaman @ Kulla Purushoth, son of Sankar, aged about 25 years, before this Court, who is now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal-II and set him liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.447, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 23.01.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
