ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in connection with a case pending on his file.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that there was no harassment caused by the respondent police, as alleged by the petitioner. However, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is required for completion of enquiry.

3. The said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Further, in order to give quietus to the issue involved herein, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such appearance, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and proceed further as per law.
