Gef Foods India Private Limited v. Hindustan Unilever Ltd

A.No.61 of 2026 in C.S.No.674 of 2010 AND A.No.62 of 2026 in C.S.No.866 of 2002 N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.

These applications have been filed to substitute the 1st and 2nd plaintiffs in C.S.No.674 of 2010 and plaintiffs 1 to 4 in C.S.No.866 of 2002 with GEF Foods India Private Limited, respectively.

2.The substitution is warranted by virtue of the Business Transfer Agreement dated 31.01.2025, wherein, the proposed plaintiff viz., GEF Foods India Private Limited has taken over the business.

3.In the considered view of this Court, there cannot be any serious objection insofar as these applications are concerned and hence, the same are allowed.

4.Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the long and short cause title.
