ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property comprised in Old.S.No.8/1, New S.No.215/10 situate at Krishnapuram Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District vide Registered Partition Deed bearing Document No.591/1985 and according to the petitioner, the said property also includes a house site and claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the same and patta was also issued to him. The petitioner wants to measure and put up the boundary stones as per the Title Deed and in this regard, he has submitted an application dated 23.01.2017 to the 1st respondent and also paid the prescribed fees and also submitted a representation dated 25.01.2017 to the respondents to survey and measure the same and in spite of receipt and acknowledgment, so far no orders have been passed and hence, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

This Court, taking into consideration, the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents to put the concerned person/s on notice and thereafter, consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 23.01.2017 as well as the representation dated 25.01.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
