Heard Mr.T.M.Hariharan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4.

2. Assailing the appointment of the fifth respondent as a Chairperson of the Village Education Committee, this writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the aforesaid Committee is not in existence.

4.In the light of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
