O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue suitable directions to the respondents police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner.

2.The petitioner is the tenant under the third respondent Rajamanikam filed this petition seeking police protection alleging that the land lord is attempting to forcibly evict the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is a tenant under the third respondent. There is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

some tenancy dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. Earlier a complaint was lodged by the petitioner on 13.12.2021 and C.S.R.No.901 of 2021 assigned. After enquiry the same has been closed. Now the current papers have been forwarded vide C.No.2453 of 2021 dated 20.12.2021. For the purpose of enquiry the petitioner is being called for. Further the petitioner is not co-operating with the respondent police. The respondent police are normally not involved in the land lord tenancy dispute and keeping them away from the civil dispute and advised the parties to approach the civil court. In this case, the petitioner was called for enquiry, if he appears before the respondent police and produces the tangeable materials in support of her contention, thereafter, the respondent police would take appropriate action.

4.Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on 09.02.2022, along with the copy of the complaint and the documents in support of her contention. Thereafter the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and proceed with the case in accordance with law. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
