ORDER
The instant appeals have been filed by the claimants seeking enhancement of compensation under the Common Award dated 21.02.2005 passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Sub Court, Hosur in M.C.O.P.Nos.79, 78, 80, 119 and 120 of 2002.
2. This Court by its order dated 08.10.2018, directed the Appellants in all these Appeals to be present before this Court on 25.10.2018 for the assessment of just compensation. On https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
25.10.2018, the respective Appellants were not present but the counsel for the Appellants in all these Appeals was alone present and he sought for further extension of time for the appearance of the respective appellants. At his request, this Court adjourned the hearing to 31.10.2018 i.e., today for appearance of the respective appellants and the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal" today.
3. When the matter was called for hearing today, there is no representation on the side of the respective appellants and the respective appellants are also not present before this Court as directed by this Court earlier.
4. In the result, all the Appeals are dismissed for default. No costs.
