ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. In response to the allegation made in this petition with regard to the encroachment and inaction despite representation made, learned State counsel, upon instructions, submits that survey has been conducted on 18.2.2026 and based on the survey report, if any encroachment is found, appropriate action would be initiated.

3. In view of the above, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending, but dispose it of with a direction that survey having been conducted, if any encroachment is found, the authority shall proceed with appropriate notice to the persons concerned and conclude the proceedings, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
