ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 seeking for issuance of joint patta in the names of the petitioner and his brother Gobikrishnan for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.

2. The petitioner claims that he and his brother are the present owners of the subject property having inherited the same from their mother. The petitioner has filed supporting documents to substantiate his case that he and his brother are the owners of the subject property. The petitioner has applied for issuance of a joint patta in their names for the subject property through his representation dated 15.12.2025. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well __________Page 2 of 4

as any other party whom the official respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 seeking for transfer of patta in his name and his brother Gobikrishnan, for the subject property, after hearing objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
