The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 30.05.2022 and to cancel the entry in the Town Survey Land Register and to issue a fresh patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. In order to cancel the entry under the Town Survey Land Register which has already been issued by the Tahsildar concerned, appeal had been preferred by the petitioner to the 1st respondent Revenue Divisional Officer on 30.05.2022 and in order to consider the same and to pass orders thereon the present writ petition has been moved by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate would submit that, the said appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.05.2022 pending before the 1st respondent would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal dated 30.05.2022 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
