Vs D.R.B.GUNASEKARAN [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 419 days in filing the Writ Appeal against the order dated 22/10/2018 in WP No.22761/2008 (In CMP.NO.3748/2021) Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.JAYAPRAKASH, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE for the petitioners and of MR.M.RAVI, ADVOCATE on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to condone the delay of 419 days in filing the writ appeal against the order dated 22.10.2018 in W.P.No.22761 of 2008.
2. Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. Heard both sides.

Upon hearing the submission made by the learned counsel on both sides and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petition is allowed on condition that the petitioners/appellants shall pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to the Madras High Court Advocate Clerks Welfare Association within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the order shall stand vacated automatically without further reference to this Court.
5. The Registry is directed to number the appeal upon production of proof of payment of Rs.1,000/- and list the same for admission, if it is otherwise in order.
