ORDER

The application is filed for payment of last drawn wages at the rate of Rs.17,000/.

2. Though it is stated that the workman was gainfully employed pending the industrial dispute, the workman claims that after the award expecting reinstatement, he resigned from that employment and is currently not otherwise gainfully employed. The said position is not controverted by filing of a counter affidavit or any other proof. In view thereof, W.M.P.No. 1323 of 2025 is allowed on the following terms:- https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

(i) The workman shall be paid the last drawn wages from the month of August 2024.

(ii) The arrears of the 17B wages shall be paid within a period of eight weeks from the date of production/receipt of the website uploaded copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order. (ii) The last drawn wages for every month shall be paid on or before 5th of every succeeding calendar month.
