The present petition has been filed for a direction to the learned District Munsif, Panruti, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.33 of 2020 within a particular time frame.

2. The matter and issue pertains to a family dispute between the plaintiff and the defendant, which resulted in filing of the original suit. The suit itself has been laid before the Court below initially in the year 2019 after a series of endorsement has been taken on file on 17.02.2020.

A perusal of the docket sheet reveals that the case has been taken up for re-call and orders has been passed for issuing summons, calling upon the presence of the defendant and defendant has also appeared through his counsel. Further perusal of the order reveals that due to the pandemic situation, the defendant was not able to appear before the trial Court and thereafter in December 2020, issues were framed for consideration and the matter was taken up for trial and witnesses were also examined between March 2020 and as of now, the pandemic situation, namely Covid-19, is still persisting and even though the trial Court has been continuously dealing with the matter. In such situation, the Court below has taken up the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

said suit that there is not any slaking on the part of the trial Court. So, there is no necessity for this Court to issue a direction as sought for and the matter being filed only in the year 2020, which needs no interference by this Court.

4. Accordingly, the present Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
