ORDER

(Heard through Video Conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the charge sheet against the petitioner/Accused in C.C.No.6142 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner filed a memo stating that the petitioner died on 08.10.2020. He has also produced a copy of the death certificate to show the same.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has clarified that the particulars furnished by the learned counsel for the petitioner about the death of the petitioner is correct and true.

In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as abated. No costs. Connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
