Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of petitioner's appeal, dated 21.09.2020 filed Under Sec.72 of the Registration Act against the impugned order, dated 08.09.2020 passed by the first Respondent within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

A certain appeal filed under Section 72 of the Registration Act is pending before the second respondent. For an expeditious disposal of the said appeal, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for a direction to that effect. 2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 16.02.2021 at 3.00 p.m. at the office of the second respondent. 3.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the same, no further direction is required to the given except that the second respondent is now required to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, grant them a fair and effective hearing and dispose of the appeal within a period of eight (8) weeks from 16.02.2021.
