Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned order of the 1st respondent vide Na.Ka.No.14858/Thopa.1/2016 dated nil.02.2017 signed on 07.02.2017 and to quash the same and further to direct the 1st respondent to grant approval cum recognition to the petitioner industrial school viz. The Best Industrial School of Catering Technology and Hotel Management.

Challenging the order of rejection dated 26.09.2016 of the petitioner's application for renewal of approval cum recognition for the academic year 2016-2017, passed by the 1st respondent, the petitioner had filed W.P.(MD) No. 22682 of 2016 and this Court, by order dated 25.11.2016, has set aside the order dated 26.09.2016 and directed the 1st respondent therein to consider the petitioner's application for renewal afresh taking into consideration the sanitary certificate already submitted by the petitioner and pass suitable orders. However, by the impugned order, the petitioner's application has come to be rejected and hence, the present writ petition. 2.
When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents that the prayer sought by the petitioner has been granted vide proceedings of the Joint Director (Industrial Training), Department of Employment and Training, Guindy, Chennai, in No.br/K/Miz/vz;/ 14858/bjhg 1/2016 dated 16.03.2017 whereby temporary recognition, valid upto 30.06.2017, has been conferred on the petitioner school.

In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Connected W.M.Ps are closed.
