This petition has been filed seeking to amend the claim amount from Rs.9,00,000/- to Rs.27,60,000/- which was claimed earlier in MCOP.No.512 of 2014 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / IV Addl. District Judge Court, Ponneri.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner filed the above C.M.A.SR.No.2549 of 2020 for enhancement of compensation and filed the present Civil Miscellaneous Petition for amending the claim of compensation in the above mentioned C.M.A. and has undertaken to pay the necessary Court fee for the enhanced compensation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis/ 1/2

Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered, amending the claim of compensation from Rs.9,00,000/- to Rs.27,60,000/-, with a direction directing the petitioner to pay the necessary court fee for the enhanced compensation amount. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order.
