The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the respondents in connection with the impugned orders passed by the 1st respondent in G.O.(2D) No.23 dated 27.06.2014 and G.O.(2D).No26 dated 30.06.2014 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to retire from service and to settle the retirement benefits within reasonable time.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives in this petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.
3. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing survives in this petition, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
