Earlier on 30.03.2022 when the case was listed for hearing, there was no representation for the Petitioner. Therefore, the case was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Prasath, learned Counsel on record for the Petitioner reports no instructions. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the Prosecution submits that this Petition was filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in the year 2019 seeking Police protection to survey the Petitioner's land and no order was passed all these years and hence, no purpose would be served by keeping this Petition on file.
