This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to extend the time to the petitioner to deposit the entire amount of Rs.19,20,353/- (Rupees nineteen lakhs twenty thousand three hundred and fifty three only) on 15.04.2024 or such other date into the credit of O.S.No.91 of 2013, on the file of Subordinate Judge, Tiruchengode.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that inspite of the efforts taken by him, he was not able to mobilise the fund. So, there is a delay on his part in order to sell the property, due to which, he was not able to deposit the amount as directed by this court. He would also submit that already he entered into an agreement of sale on 03.01.2024 with one Murugesan to settle the issue possibly within a period of three months i.e. on or before 15.04.2024. Hence, he prayed to extend the time to deposit entire amount.

4. The fact remains that already he entered into a sale agreement with one Murugesan for a valid consideration. So, there is a possibility to settle the issue. Therefore, this Court is inclined to extend the time to deposit entire amount of Rs.19,20,353/- till 15.04.2024 into the credit of O.S.No.91 of 2013 on the file of Subordinate Judge, Thiruchengode, failing which suitable order will be passed on the next date of hearing. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
