ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and also made an endorsement to that effect. He further requested that a direction may be issued to the first respondent to complete the investigation at the earliest and file a final report.

In view of the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Further, acceding to the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.27 of 2024 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 11-02-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VKR
