O R D E R

Seeking a direction to transfer the case in C.C.No.85 of 2014 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi, to any other Court, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It appears that the petitioner is going to the Court for giving evidence, he was threatened by the accused, who are land mafia. Hence, the respondent police is directed to provide sufficient security to the petitioner, when he comes to the Court for giving evidence and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi is also directed to ensure the same, so that the petitioner gives evidence in a fair and free manner.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
