When this Contempt Petition was taken up, the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the direction of this Court dated 12.01.2017 in W.P.No.43336 of 2016, enquiry has been completed on the complaint made by the petitioner

and the same has been closed. In this regard, a copy of the letter dated 01.08.2017 from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tambaram Circle, Chennai-600 045, addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Chennai-600 104, has been produced before this Court. The said submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor has also been affirmed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.Recording the above, the contempt petition is closed.
