2.The petitioners are employees of the respondent and they were appointed during the year 1988. After putting several years of service, the petitioners opted to resign from their service and their resignation was also accepted by the respondent. The grievance of the petitioners is that though their resignation was accepted by the respondent during the years 2003 and 2005 respectively, their terminal benefits have not yet been settled. In this regard, the petitioners made representations to the respondent, however, the same have not yet been considered. Hence, these writ petitions. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioners representations, within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioners representations and to pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if they have not yet been disposed of. The petitioners are directed to send a copy of their representations to the respondent along with a copy of this order.
5.The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
