ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the 4th respondent to consider the proposal sent by the 5th respondent for approval of the petitioner's appointment to the post of B.T.Assistant (Social Science).
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner was appointed as B.T.Assistant (Social Science), by an order dated 26.09.2020, in the 5th respondent School with effect from 01.10.2020, in the vacancy arising out of the retirement of one Elizebeth Vijayarani. The said post is a regular sanctioned post with grant-in-aid from
the Government. After her appointment, the 5th respondent sent a proposal to the 4th respondent for approval. However, the 4th respondent, by its proceedings dated 23.06.2021, returned the proposal by raising some queries. The 5th respondent resubmitted the proposal by answering the queries raised by the 4th respondent on 15.03.2023. However, it is pending with the 4th respondent without passing any order.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the request made by the 5th respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner to the post of B.T.Assistant (Social Science) in the 5th respondent School and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
