ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 120(b), 420, 170, 387, 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.916 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein along with others had alleged to have cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.2 Crores by way of job racketing. Hence, the complaint. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that it is the case of money dispute and it has been falsely projected as a case of job racketing. Therefore, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner under the guise of obtaining a government job for the defacto complainant's son had received an amount of Rs.2.83 Crores from the defacto complainant and thereby, cheated him. He would submit that A1 had received an amount of Rs.32 Lakhs into his bank account, and other amounts have been deposited into the bank accounts of his relatives. He would further submit that there are four previous cases as against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed for grant of 2/4

anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record including the FIR. 6.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner has four previous cases pending against him, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.
